  • Complete overview of the functioning /operations of the purchased tractor as part of tractor installation including use of special attachments, storing the tractor, use of Operator Manual and specifics of HMT Warranty Policy

  • Efficient after sales service backup

  • Free maintenance services during the warranty period for the goods supplied as per terms of the warranty policy

  • Availability of necessary infrastructure; equipment and trained personal at dealer’s place for service requirement of the tractor

  • Sufficient supply of spares with the dealer

  • Maintenance of a “Tractor Service Record “ with the dealer, containing the history details of each tractor in a specific format

  • Speedy resolution of issues of warranty claims and settlements.

  • Organisation of Tractor Service Camps of the following kinds, from time to time, at various locations along with the local dealer and to suit the convenience of the customer

  • Free service camp

  • Door to door service

  • Farmer training camps

  • Way side mechanic training camps

GRIEVANCE REDRESS MECHANISM
 

In case of any enquiries, clarification or grievances in connection with performance of the tractor, customer is entitled the following Grievance Redress mechanism.

  • Approach the authorized dealer for redress. Dealer’s mechanics will check the tractor and carry out the necessary repairs to the satisfaction of the customer.

  • If not satisfied with the dealer’s response, the concerned personnel at our service depot may be contacted. The address and the details of the person to be contacted are given in the operator manual.

  • Area Offices of HMT are located in various places across the country. The customer can also contact the local area office of HMT tractors. A list of the area offices along with requisite details is given in Enclosure. The address of contact person is also available with the dealer.

  • In case the customer is not able to get his grievance redressed at any of the above places he may directly write to:

OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE CUSTOMER
 

We solicit the customer’s cooperation in our endeavor to serve him better. We highly appreciate the following gestures from the customer, which will enable us to serve him better.

Dealers

  • Total transparency and honesty in financial dealings and all other transactions with the customer.

  • Commitment to be courteous to the customer and sincere towards fulfilling his needs.

  • Provision of efficient after sales service with minimum waiting period for the customer.

  • Development of sufficient infrastructure, trained manpower and equipment to cater to effective after-sales-service.

  • Stocks of sufficient spare parts and ensure genuine spare part usage all times.

  • Pre Dispatch Inspection on receipt of the tractor and proper installation of the tractor

  • Detailed explanation of the features and maintenance of the tractor to the farmer and make him understand its importance.

Tractor Users

  • Proper understanding of the operation of the tractor and all accessories, levers, and gauges provided in the tractor and ensure proper use of the tractor. Our dealer will be delighted to be of any assistance to the customer.

  • Understanding and implementation of the routine maintenance of the tractor for its optimal performance.

  • Ensuring that only authorized dealers attend to any service/ repair of the tractor; only genuine spare parts are used, and usage of only good quality diesel and oils.

  • Prompt and honest payments as per mutually agreed schedule with dealer.

  • Understand and comply with, the information provided in the operators manual.

  • Immediately bringing to the notice of our dealer any case of defect or mal-functioning for check and carrying out of necessary repair / servicing
